| Description | Hi Jason As a result of replacing custom webview with cross-walk unavailable in OS12, GTS failure occurred. Therefore, SKB is considering testing after selecting webview as manual when testing Google. Please add the webview select menu to the Google settings menu https://jira.skbroadband.com/browse/FSTB12-27 STB does not have that select menu, but mobile phone shows that menu. Hi Jason Please put this issue on hold. SPTEK said it was implemented without a selection menu. If there is no problem with the Google test , I will close this issue. Thank you YK.Jung |

Hi Jason, In order to solve this issue, SKB proposed unifies the DNS properties of all three companies(FXN, INTEK, Innopia). If DNS property is enabled, temporarily PASS this fail case by setting the default webview to use the original webview. SKB wants to proceed without informing to 3PL of this. (It will be formally fixed later.) SKB is curious about FXN's opinion of this proposal. Please reply after review. Thank you. Kim |

Hi JunGyu, We can not understand the relationship between DNS properties and webview. In current testing, auto Test: we ignore SKB DNS (use Google original DNS) and use SKB webview. (From Android 12, some auto test items need to use cec/passthrough/power key, so we need to login SKB UI to test it) manual Test: Because we need to login SKB account to check the behavior of launcher, so we use SKB DNS and use Korean VPN, we also use SKB webview Thanks, Jason |

Hi Jason, I understand that the STB in 3PL enabled persist.vendor.vasott.skip_skbdns for DNS setting. SKB is inquiring about the following two cases. 1. Instead of persist.vendor.vasott.skip_skbdns property, 3 companies (FXN / Intek / Innopia) can use common property to set DNS related settings in 3PL => Currently, all three companies are using different properties. 2. If DNS property is enabled, temporarily PASS this fail case by setting the default webview to use the original webview. => The reason for mentioning the DNS property is to pass the webview-related fail case temporarily by using this flag, since this property is enabled in the 3PL board. Hi JunGyu, Did you mean if we set persist.vendor.vasott.skip_skbdns as 1 => use Google GTVS webview persist.vendor.vasott.skip_skbdns as 0 => use SKB webview I think it might works for us, but I can not confirm it work for other company As far as I know, Intek test xTS in SKB UI (not login page) We follow TVStorm guidelines from Android 9. Hi Jason, I asked SKB about another company not proceeding with xTS on the login page, and it would not matter if the default webview was used. Then, we will proceed by using the dns property to handle cases related to webview. Thank you. Kim |
